If you're working on removing a bad habit or changing
a thinking pattern, we suggest that you listen to your hypnosis tape
or CD daily, or at least several times a week until you feel like
your behavior is changing. Once you've achieved the desired results,
continue to listen occasionally for reinforcement, and to help you
stay motivated and positive. During the first several months at least,
we suggest that you do frequent "tune-ups".

You'll be fully aware of what's happening around you as you're listening
to your hypnosis tape or CD. Don't expect to go into a "trance-like" state.
The goal is to relax your body, with help and instruction, and focus your mind
on the spoken suggestions. Most people say that they experience their mind wandering,
and then coming back to focus on the suggestions periodically during the program.
That's perfectly normal. If you're listening to our daytime version, the suggestions
will lead you into awakening with energy and rejuvenation. If you're listening to
the nighttime version, you'll be lulled into a deep, restful sleep.

Our suggestion is that you listen
to your CD only when you can devote all of your attention to it. Self-hypnosis
tapes and CD's contain powerful relaxation suggestions, and to ensure your safety,
you should never listen while performing an activity that requires any level of your attention.

Our interpretation is that meditation
is a way to "clear" or "cleanse" the mind. It allows us to see and contemplate ourselves
without the "clutter" of the world around us. Self-hypnosis is the "planting of seeds" in
our minds, seeds that can encourage our growth in the ways we choose. Most of us find more
inner peace and happiness when we decide to change things about ourselves that we consider unhealthy.
Likewise, around this time we begin to add healthy habits and thought processes to replace the
unhealthy ones we're working to get rid of. Self-hypnosis can help by "planting the seeds" of thought
to assist you with both.

This is a common concern of many, a lot of
people have said that they "can't be hypnotized." In our experience, anyone can be hypnotized.
Self-hypnosis only requires that you have the ability to remain semi-focused for 30 to 60 minutes,
and be able to follow instructions. It's actually very simple. Each program begins with a guided
relaxation process that helps you to calm your body... slow it down a bit. By simply focusing on
the words, enjoying the sounds in the background, and following the suggestions on the recording,
you allow yourself to be both physically and mentally relaxed. This state allows you to kind of
clear and open various parts of your mind. This is the optimum moment to "plant seeds" that lead
you away from a negative... or towards a positive.

Each of Dreamtime Meditation Systems audio programs
begins with a calming relaxation process. With gentle assistance, you will allow yourself to be physically
and mentally relaxed, focusing on the positive suggestions that compose the program. Try to bring your thoughts
back to the words and the sounds of the recording whenever you notice your mind wandering. You may experience
feeling like you doze in and out during the program. Rest assured the program is still working. The subconscious
mind is very graphic or image-oriented at this stage of awareness, so when you think about it, try to visualize,
to picture in your mind, what is being spoken to you. Next, you will relax a bit more, and then either be encouraged to
become fully aware and wake up (daytime version) or lulled off to sleep gently (nighttime version). With constant repetition,
this form of self-hypnosis can be an extremely powerful tool to help you reach all your goals. All
you have to do is make the time, and then listen. You're probably going to have to do ~something~ to
bring about the changes you want, it's not likely to happen without some effort on your part. This can
be powerful stuff, and it doesn't take much effort.

All DMS standard programs include both a daytime and
nighttime version, at no additional cost. We want you to listen, and think that you'll listen more
if you always have the appropriate recording for whenever you find the time, or feel the urge, to listen.
We suggest that you alternate using both, but that isn't necessary for the program to work. Both versions
are essentially the same in suggestion content. The daytime version takes a little less time, not because
we put less of the important stuff in there, but because we pulled out just a little of the deeper relaxation
techniques that assist your body to go into deep sleep at night. We thought that you might have a little less
time to spare in the daytime anyway. But we spared nothing on the nighttime version. In addition to extended
deep relaxation techniques, there is extended, gentle instructions to go to sleep at the end of the self-hypnosis
program, and then an extended fading out of the luscious background to insure your sleep is not interrupted.

Whether
you find the time to listen morning, noon, afternoon, on your way
to sleep, or in the middle of the night.. you'll always have the right
program. Every DMS product is carefully researched, caringly scripted,

Once the research is completed, and the message content is drawn up,
we do multiple hypnosis and self-hypnosis sessions with each other and others, to fine-tune the message content.
Some phrases work better than others. Some statements can be confusing. The mind works best with repeated, clear pictures.
We continue to test and adjust for relaxation effectiveness, pleasure, pacing, and the most important, message content
effectiveness. Whenever we all finally agree that we've got it right, the actual recording begins.

Using high quality digital equipment, the session is recorded,
and re-recorded several times, and the vocals mastered to remove any imperfections. Once the vocals are
semi-complete the process shifts, and the focus moves to creating the perfect backgrounds. First comes
the music. Some compositions were created specifically for the DMS line. Some compositions kind of "fell in"
because, after attempting to compose the perfect music for a specific program, an earlier piece complimented
the effectiveness of the program more, or just plain sounded better. All backgrounds- Native American flute,
orchestra, and ocean, are individually mastered, one by one woven in and around the spoken content. This step is
very time consuming, as with each program and each background, it could take as many as 10 revisions as we try to
get it perfect. Well, it's never perfect. But we're going to keep trying to get it there.

Next,
additional mastering. A very soft and gentle reverb is added to various
layers of the recording. You wouldn't notice it as a reverb probably,
it's very slight... you would just wonder what gives the recordings
that up-among-the-clouds ethereal quality. The semi-complete recording
goes out to all of us to test, critique, and back for more changes
and corrections and re-mastering a few times. Actually, sometimes
we continue to do this for quite a while until Emma says "enough already!"
and sneaks it away from us to copyright it. She says it's better that
folks are able to have this now, in it's close-almost-exactly-perfect
state, than to take 20 more years to get it just perfect. I think
she exaggerates, but I have to admit, I think we did pretty good.
I'm pretty sure if you try them, you'll notice The Dreamtime
